This Privacy Policy explains how Yasheen Sewnarain (operating as Fin and Flow) ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the Global Kickoff mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the policies set forth by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and applicable data protection laws, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988, GDPR, and CCPA.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Global Kickoff, we may collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: To save your game progress (such as unlocked avatars, XP, tokens, and stamina), we may require you to create an account. This involves collecting your email address and a chosen display name.
• Optional Profile Information: You may voluntarily choose to provide your Date of Birth (DOB), Gender, and Country/Region within your account settings or during registration. This information is completely optional and is collected strictly for internal analytical purposes. We use this demographic data solely to understand our player base and adapt future game features, content, and events to better suit the people using our App.
• Communications: If you contact our support team, we collect the information you provide in that communication.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Game State and Usage Data: We use Google Firebase to securely store your game progress, including inventory items, high scores, and active stamina levels.
• Device Information: We may collect non-identifiable information about your device, such as the operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers to help us debug issues and improve game performance.
• Log Data: Crash reports and system activity may be collected to help identify bugs and crashes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To create and maintain your account, save your progress, and allow you to access your unlocked locker room items across devices.
• Analytics & Game Adaptation: To analyse usage trends and demographics (using the optional DOB, Gender, and Country/Region data) to help us tailor and adapt future updates to our specific audience.
• Improvement: To fix bugs and optimise the overall gameplay experience.
• Security: To prevent fraudulent activity and protect the integrity of the game's economy (tokens and XP).
• Communication: To respond to your customer service requests.

3. Third-Party Services

Global Kickoff uses trusted third-party service providers to facilitate our App. These services may collect information used to identify you.

• Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database / Firestore, Hosting): We use Firebase for backend infrastructure, database storage, and user authentication. You can review Google's Privacy Policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Apple App Store and Google Play Store Compliance Please note that your personal data, including the optional demographic data (DOB, Gender, Country/Region), is securely stored on our own Firebase backend and is not shared with or sold to Apple or Google. Apple and Google may collect standard, anonymised app usage metrics and crash logs through their respective platforms (App Store Connect and Google Play Console) as outlined in their own privacy policies, which operate independently of our App.

No Tracking Across Apps We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use tracking technologies for targeted advertising. All data collected is strictly linked to your in-game profile for the sole purpose of improving your Global Kickoff experience.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the game services.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated game data at any time. You can initiate this request in the following ways:

• In-App: You can delete your account by navigating to the Main Menu > Settings > Delete Account, or by going to the Locker Room, pressing the gear icon (top right), and scrolling down to Delete Account.
• On the Web: By visiting our data deletion portal at https://global-kickoff-76ae0.web.app/delete-account
• Via Email: By contacting us at finandflowgames@gmail.com.

Upon request, all associated personal data and game progress will be permanently deleted from our Firebase servers instantly.

5. Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us. We utilise industry-standard security measures, including Google Firebase's built-in encryption and security rules, to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or destruction. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Global Kickoff does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take immediate steps to remove that information from our servers.
